The heart depicted in our legacyingiving logo is a symbol from the Adinkra "alphabet" from Ghana called Odo Nyera Fie Kwan, which means "Love does not get lost on its way home."

It is the symbol of love, devotion, and faithfulness, and also translates as "Love lights its own path. It never gets lost on its way home."

We have chosen this symbol to represent our legacyingiving campaign, which aspires to donate a uniform to a girl in Africa for every dress or skirt sold so she is able to go to school and create better opportunites for her future. 

This act of giving represents love and devotion to making a girl's life better, one girl at a time.

Imagine that girl growing up, and, because of her education, finding her place or "home" in her community, making the world a better place for many.

This act, however small, is not lost, because it "finds its way home down the road."
